Dear CA ANZ Member,
We are writing to you today to inform you of the decision by Lee White to stand down as Chief Executive of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand by the end of 2017.
Lee believes the time is right to bring in a new CEO to help navigate the next important stage of transformation for CA ANZ. We fully support him in this decision.
As an organisation we must constantly strive to serve our current members and stakeholders, but most importantly to foster a new generation of talent. Change is a constant and further transformation is required in our profession and our member organisation.
Caring deeply for our profession, our members and the many great people who serve within CA ANZ, his decision was made after much personal consideration.
Lee has been part of this great organisation for the past 9 years, starting with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia, through to the creation of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, which was the first of its kind in our profession globally.
He can be very proud of his achievements with CA ANZ over the last 4 years as CEO and 30 years as a CA. His legacy will be a strong and vibrant member organisation, having guided our organisation during a very important stage of transformation.
Lee remains committed to CA ANZ and will ensure a smooth and thorough transition to a new CEO.
We feel extremely positive about the future and would like to personally thank Lee for his tireless contribution to CA ANZ, our members and the profession.
Kind Regards,
Murray Jack FCA Chair
